If you’d like to witness the best in Latin dance and song, the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas will be hosting the 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday of this week where top acts from around Latin America will compete for the coveted Grammy.

Latin America expands from Central and South America, Spain and some Caribbean countries which make for an elaborate selection of music genres which compete at the annual awards ceremony. Many artists you may not recognize but a few that have broken through onto the mainstream include Pitbull, Shakira and Daddy Yankee among many others that have made strides in the Latin Jazz community, Tropical music scene as well as  in the Alternative Rock genre.

The ceremony will be aired on November 10th from 8-11 p.m. on the Univision Network and for those wanting tickets can purchase them through Ticketmaster via the Mandalay Bay website where you’re also giving the option to book a room so you can enjoy the after parties of course.

The Mandalay Bay is home to a 12,000 seat venue where this week they will be hosting the Pacquiao vs. Marquez fight on Saturday as well as Katy Perry on the 19th.

There will also be a Latin Grammy after party where if you’re lucky and can get tickets, you’ll have an opportunity to rub elbows with the evening’s winners.
